About Me

I am a queer colored pencil artist based in Philadelphia with a love for Surrealism. I've always been inspired by the monsters featured on trading card illustrations like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering, and how much rich personality and story can come from such a small snapshot into a creature's fantasy world. I also take inspiration from Claes Oldenburg and Wayne Thiebaud, whose works heavily featured food and our relationship with it. I also love encouraging pareidolia, aka the human tendency to interpret random images or sounds as meaningful, such as seeing shapes in the clouds and assigning a face to the moon. My artwork combines all of these aspects!
